Dr. Joshua Rifkind is a board certified medical oncologist. He joined Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers in September 2017. After graduating from fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, he stayed on to practice hematology and oncology Dartmouth-Hitchcock as an assistant professor of medicine. He was recognized as one of New Hampshire’s Top Doctors. Dr. Rifkind strongly believes in the importance of personalizing health care for each individual patient. As such he created and led a multi-disciplinary breast cancer tumor board for the southern region at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
Dr Rifkind is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has presented research on neoadjuvant therapy for pancreatic cancer at one of their national meetings. He is also a member of the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Rifkind specializes in and treats all forms of adult cancers and blood disorders with a special focus in lung, gastrointestinal including esophageal, stomach, colon, pancreas, and breast cancer.
