Dr. Mantripragada specializes in gastrointestinal malignancies and hematologic disorders. He joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in March 2018.

He earned his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College. He has a Master of Public Health from Western Kentucky University. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and his Hematology & Medical Oncology Fellowship at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and American Society of Hematology.

During his time at Brown University from 2011 to 2018, his primary focus of patient care and research was in gastrointestinal malignancies. He played crucial roles as clinical researcher and statistician for the Brown University Oncology Group, and developed various investigator-initiated protocols, published and presented his research findings in high impact journals and national meetings. He published some of the most extensive experiences in post-surgical therapy for gall bladder cancer and next generation sequencing and targeted therapy in gastrointestinal cancers. He served as an attending in its department of gastrointestinal malignancies.

He brings his extensive experience in the field of gastrointestinal malignancies to serve the community through Ironwood.

Dr. Mantripragada is actively involved in the education of medical students and residents from Creighton University School of Medicine and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
