Dr. Tsai joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in 2010. She completed her residency at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, one of only thirty-nine NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. She earned her MD at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and subsequently completed an internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois. Dr. Tsai specializes in the treatment of breast and prostate cancer and is experienced in APBI breast brachytherapy including use of the MammoSite device, HDR brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, IMRT, and seed implants for prostate cancer treatment. She has published numerous studies and articles in the basic sciences and radiation oncology and has been invited to give presentations on MammoSite brachytherapy at national conferences including the American Brachytherapy Society and American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology. Dr. Tsai is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
