Jasleen K. Khanuja, MD, joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in January 2020. She was raised in the valley and attended high school at Phoenix Country Day. She obtained her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and completed her internal medicine training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Following her residency, she completed her medical oncology and hematology fellowship at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Hospital.
Dr. Khanuja specializes in breast cancer and hematologic disorders. She is board certified in medical oncology and hematology and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, as well as the American Society of Hematology. She has presented in national meetings on loco-regional treatment in breast cancer, and complementary and alternative medicine in oncology patients. She recognizes the importance of further advancing medical education and enjoys mentorship of medical students as a Clinical Instructor in Hematology/Medical Oncology at Creighton University.
Dr. Khanuja values long term relationships with her patients and is dedicated to improving their health with compassionate, team-based, holistic cancer care in her hometown of Phoenix. She strives to treat each patient as an individual and places a special emphasis on women’s health and survivorship. She is committed to providing her patients with tailored treatment options, including endocrine therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and next-generation testing.
