Jennifer Bernt, DNP, FNP-C, AOCNP

Jennifer was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina where her family still resides. Jennifer resides in Chandler with her husband and their two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, reading, quilting, cooking, and spending time with friends. She travels when she can, often visiting her family in South Carolina, but also loves to see different places in the world!

She first obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2000 at Trident Technical College. She then obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare management in 2006 from Kaplan University, her Master’s in Nursing in 2018 from Grand Canyon University, and DNP from Missouri State University in 2024. Not only has she helped thousands of people through their cancer journey as a nurse, but her family has also been affected by cancer and she has a true passion for this special population. She is has been working with Dr. Kalmadi at Ironwood since 2018.
