Krystal Scales, FNP-C

Krystal received her Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing from Simmons College in Boston. She is board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to coming to work for Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers she was a Primary Care Provider in the area of Globe/Miami, AZ for 6 years taking care of patients from birth to geriatric. She is excited to be working with Dr. Mendonca in the Gilbert office and becoming specialized in Oncology specifically Breast Cancer.

Krystal resides in Queen Valley, AZ  with her husband and 3 dogs. In her spare-time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandson.  She also enjoys reading, putting together Legos, and cooking/baking. She acknowledges that she is a universal geek in that she does not discriminate against any nerdy fandom her personal favorites include Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and the Fantastical Beasts franchises.
