Sonia is a bilingual (Spanish/English) board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Midwestern University with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). She is a member of American Nurses Association, Oncology Nursing Society, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining Ironwood, Sonia worked as a registered nurse in oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant.
Sonia was born in Mexico, grew up in Northern California and has been an Arizona resident since 2001. She enjoys reading, cooking/baking and spending time with family and friends.
